“FES” is a profoundly effective therapy for muscle health. It’s a controlled standing exercise, with precise control and enough penetration to contract and release groups of muscles (superficial and secondary levels). This safe, non-invasive therapy promotes mobility, reduces soreness, increases straightness, strengthens muscle groups and opens neural pathways. This is possible by technology thats creates controlled, exact muscle contractions measured by the FES machine, which gives both instant numerical feedback about muscle integrity, but allows for profound pain relief and many other benefits. This is the ONLY therapy that makes groups of muscles works together, and can ignite secondary level of muscles to WORK, aka “a standing exercise”. Candidates include horses in the spectrum between rehab and stall rest whose needs are to help strengthening their balance, to the opposite where horses in advanced work who need relief from constant constriction.
